H&R Amarok lifted Coils

The first shipment of the new H&R lifted coils for the VW Amarok I have been developing in conjunction with Bilstein Australia have arrived. In stock at the moment are the heavy coils designed for bullbars & bar with winches with the light weight ones to follow in a couple weeks.
These coils are excellent quality, engineered & made in Germany to the specs to suit our conditions here in Aus & have really nice ride feel.
They are made through a cold wound process rather than hot wound which gives them greater longevity & resistance to sagging. H&R use the finest quality materials & state of the art manufacturing techniques.
RRP on these coils is $367 but as an introductory offer I have set the price at $250 on the first 20 sets of each heavy & light from this shipment to my Facebook followers & Ausamarok members.
So get in quick as they wont last long at this price.

Hey Mark, how do these compare to Dobinsons 038 in terms of ride height and feel?

    Cheers.

Same height 35-40mm lift depending on your gear up front but the ride has a nicer feel, not as short & sharp as same coils.

Dobinsons are approximately ~35mm, will these H&R coils settle to a similar height after loading up with winch and bar??I also assume they work with all the bilstein struts (standard and reinforced) for the Amarok?

The H&R coils are designed to give 35-40mm of lift, 40mm lift with a bar only as the one pictured & roughly 35mm with bar & winch. The weight of the bar & the brand will also have an impact on how much lift it will give as same brands such as the ARB bars project out the front of the truck a lot further which amplifies its weight.
I've been running the test set in my Rok for over 4 months now with roughly 85kg on the front & they are still the same height now as when they went in, haven't sagged a mm. No other coils I've seen or have tested retain their original intended lift as well as these coils have, they all sag a little, some more than others. The couple main things with these new coils is they give a nicer ride & being cold wound using a higher grade of material they will resist sagging a lot longer.
They will fit all Bilstein front struts standard & uprated as well as any other struts that are made to the same overall dimension specs as the genuine VW struts.
And no that price doesn't include the billies. [emoji12]

The truck in the pic has an opposite lock bar on it which weighs approx 76kg & it's lift was 40mm & I recon I could measure it again in a year it will still be 40mm, well maybe 39.

    hi mark Net4x4

i have kings 2 inch on OME shocks. an arg bar and tjm winch..

i think the springs have sagged a little and am sick of smashing the under engine protection smashing into the sand on the ruts.

i desperately need to get my rock higher at the front.

can you tell me what measurement you are getting from the top of the wheel centre ???

or do you have any other ideas how to get the front up a little ???

Front coils in over the weekend went from 527 to 560 so 33mm lift with some settling i guess still to come. Arb steel bar and warn winch hanging out the front.

Mark is this similar to what you have seen/experienced?

Dropped in to Net4x4 this afternoon and fitted up a set of the heavy HR coils to the OME struts. Ride height after the drive home is sitting at 570mm at front. Rear was not altered and sits at 600mm. Feels pretty good on the road. Got 4 more trips to do before the tracks close down here, then I will be back to Mark for some new struts, and new shocks for the back end. I'll give a bit more feedback on the HR coils after the next trip.
