Mount Ginini

Hi All

I took the rok for it's first trip off the bitumen up Mount Franklin road to Mount Ginini to the Air Services Australia site up the top.
The weather was terrible low cloud covered the ridge line and mountain top completely and it rained most of the time. There was still a fair few people out though getting the most of their Easter long weekend. I passed a number of Land Cruisers, Utes and a Subaru coming the other way.

Coming down Mount Ginini I go to try out the hill descent control and it is pretty neat stuff letting the car work it's way down the hill on it's own.

The road has deteriorated quite a bit since I went up last year.

Well done on the commitment to still head out. I wanted to head up Mt Coree this long weekend myself, but alas the weather just put me off.

Might try again in a couple of weeks.

The rain set in late here Southside, was it raining the whole time out on the brindies?
