Easy done mate, but there is that nagging little thing called keeping it legal. Throw that out the window & no probs. [emoji6]

ICV. Individually constructed vehicle. You will have to toss the VW badge though, but Baeuy can make you a custom one.

Hey Mark,
I have a alloy tray with alloy canopy and ladder racks that I use as my electrician setup. I estimate that I have between 400-500kg on top of the tray. The back has started to sag and I wanted to raise it. Can you send some info my way.

Thanks

Are the Bilstein B6 rear shocks longer? or are there B6 shocks in standard length aswell?

Ive recently had a lift kit installed. Is it normal to have a squeeky rear end? Is it due to the nolathane bushes?

Most likely.
Nolathane/polyurethane bushes are notorious for squeaking. It recommended to lubricate the pivot bores & flange faces with a Molybdenum disulfide based grease not a rubber grease during installation & if the squeaking returns to use a spray lube of the same base every once in a while. General if the grease was applied during install you should get up to a year without squeaking.

The current Bilstein B6 rear shocks are the same length as standard shocks.

Hi Mark,
I sent a couple of emails requesting pricing of lift kits but haven't heard anything back.
Did you get my emails?

My rear end has a little squeak now. [emoji13][emoji13]
What brand of lube do you recommend?
It started after I gave the Rok a pressure wash.

I'd recommend changing your diet rather than using lube...

Thanks bauerco.
Contacted the install guys and dropped it off today. Apparently the noise is a common amarok issue with the rear leaf Springs. They advised that one of their other branches installed 5 lift kits to amaroks. Out of the 5, 3 came back with noisey rears.

Oem use rubber because its great stuff. I am not aware of even a single oem using plastic, or a single argument saying plastic is better in any area. There are clear arguments however that rubber is better in several significant regards. Plastic is cheaper to make . . .

Tornado_ALIVE They fit alright on the Dobinsons? I have a set that look similar to the pic that just wont go around the diameter of the coil.

Hajduk79,

I think it is normal as you have the HD aka normal suspension.

I vaguely recall reading where someone posted that the lower 1 or 2 leafs/leaves don't get engaged until there is a fair amount of weight on the back end.

If I'm wrong it won't take long to find out. ;)

Cheers
