Maybe we could all meet up and tackle this Saunders track?

Yeah, that would work. It costs $50 for about 3 hours of driving (more if you faff about). Those that are keen can hire one of the cabins they have there too

Could a non Amarok owner (but VW Enthusiast) tag along?

I don't think my Jetta would do well off road :D

Of course. But you would have to stay at the back and wear a silly hat

I know it's a bit boring, but Goolwa beach would be a good meet n greet. add some southern tracks for a nice day of driving.

No further talk about it but all it takes us for someone to step up. I will if nothing happens by March or do when my work settles down a bit

Looks to me like this potential SA meet has died a natural death. Is anyone still interested? If so, I'll start the ball rolling. Keeping in the theme of Goolwa and surrounding areas, maybe a Saturday spent out driving, and for those that can and want to socialise, a BBQ and coupla drinks Saturday evening at a local caravan park. Hopefully in the next few weeks would be good timing before we get too close to Christmas and the silly season.

Are you still around dazzadog for your local knowledge?

Hoping to see lots of replies. Maybe it would be good to include some dates you are available in the next few weeks, so we can pick the best weekend.

Hi Mark, put me down, November weekends better as October busy.

We could start with a meet/greet/show and shine in Adelaide metro (central) location and have a bite to eat and some beverages or as you suggest do a drive down south.

I'm was tossing over heading over to Sunset NP in November to meet the crew from the Vic Club assuming it's still happening, just need to check dates....Anybody keen on doing a SA convoy?

    Cheers SAROK

    Hi SAROK,
Well that's two of us so far. If no one else, it should be easy to organise a mutual date ! Will give it another week and see responses, and then we'll work out where we go etc. Would be interested in Sunset NP depending on dates.

Mmmmm. Certainly doesn't seem to be many Rok owners in SA that seem too interested in a meet. Oh well, off to Salt Creek in 20 minutes for a get together with a dozen other 4B owners.

Haven't done Saunder's gorge yet but I have heard it is great and not far from home.
I grew up in the Flinders rangers and moved to Adelaide in 2005

Hi guys, i know this thread is a bit dated but I moved to SA last year and got an Amarok start of this year. I'd love to organise a meet and greet, to find fellow enthusiasts and hopefully share 4by track locations. If anyone is keen please let me know, I'm thinking late October before silly season is well and truly underway. Cheers
