If you have a faulty clutch in a manual gearbox will this prevent the starting?
Certainly shouldn’t , but with electronics these days I could be wrong ....
What is it doing. I have just had a session of car park non starts where out of the blue the motor would just crank with zero interest in starting. Hours later it would fire up like nothing happened. Became increasingly common. Turned out to be the fuel sender unit in the tank. The mechanics could stop and start it by tapping it with a screwdriver.
