Just thinking of a quick day trip to Flea creek, anyone been there lately? Condition of the tracks? I haven't been up to the Brindies before so a novice and just concerned with getting stuck....or more worrying my wife yelling at me for getting lost....

Update: went out to Flea Creek and absolutely LOVED the drive! Track was in good nick and the Amarok absolutely smashed the descent and the climb! First proper off road go (I know not extreme) but the track at times was a little tough....I'm sorta hooked now.7c4a3c2e897ff28a0debfbc58b09f257.jpg

Just went out there myself on Saturday, mates daughters first offroad trip and first time out of a booster seat, so took her out for congrats trip.

All the tracks are in great condition including Webbs Ridge, Powerline, Pabral and Curries. Two Sticks is still a little worse for wear compared to normal, but still very good.

Still so damn annoyed that some stupid idiot took a chainsaw to two old trees at the banks of Flea Creek.

Mt Coree all to myself surprisingly!

    This was in January, Sarah.

I have not read of any current closures in the area, so you should be fine, however always take a look here just in case for access restrictions to flea creek etc

Thanks for that. I couldn't tell if it was August 1 or January 9 that is the link I've been trying to find I think.
    Thanks

Do you know how it normally reacts to rain though? It's been almost 2 years since we drove on it I can't remember the surface

It is usually pretty good as long as it hasn't already been torn up too much by others.

Turned out being a brilliant day.
    Went
    Brindabella Rd
    Gentle Annie
    Webs Ridge Rd
    Powerline Trail
    Two Sicks Rd
    Mt Coree
    Back down to Two Sticks
    Blue Range Rd
    Genges Trail
Was supposed to come back out on Blue Range Road but must have missed it as we ended back up on Two Sticks to Mountain Creek Road and back to cotter
    Was great day.
